Pace Setters

Aiming for your personal best time but need a little motivation to get there? Every year we have a fantastic group of Pace Setters who volunteer their time on event day to help participants reach their goal. Make sure you keep an eye out for the coloured balloons on Sunday August 26!

What’s a Pace Setter?

A Pace Setter is a runner who will be completing the course in a specified time to help participants reach their goals. We have a wonderful team of Pace Setters who volunteer their time on event day.

How do I spot a Pace Setter on event day?

Every Pace Setter will have a coloured balloon relating to the time they will be running at. Pace Setters will also be wearing official ‘Pacer Singlets’ and race bibs with their time on them.

What times will they be doing?

We will have 21 Pace Setters out on course running at various times, check out their profiles for a breakdown of times.
