TRANSPORT AND TRAVEL ON THE DAY
There will be free public transport for all participants and volunteers on race day until 3pm! All you will need to do is present your race number or volunteer shirt.
Buses will run from the three public transport hubs Eight Mile Plains, Carindale, and Chermside and various stops along the way to both the 4.5km and 10km start lines. Buses will drop participants back to these hubs from the finish line post-race.
For the 10km course only, there will be additional Queensland Rail services to drop participants at Murarrie Station. Spectators should not travel to the 10km start line as there will be no return service.
The public transport timetables are scheduled to be released shortly and should be available on the Journey Planner on the Translink website.
Please stay COVID Safe and follow the direction of Translink staff. For more information about COVID Safe travel, read here.
PLEASE NOTE: Ferries are not included in the free public transport promotion.
There will not be any allocated car parking at either start line. We strongly recommend that participants park at the public transport hubs and use the free public transport promotion. There will be disabled parking access.
There will be several road closures in place across the course to ensure the safety of our participants and the general public. The road closure schedule will be released closer to the event.
As the Gateway Bridge will be closed, the Clem Jones Tunnel southbound and Airport Link southbound will be toll-free until 11am, thanks to Transurban.
