A little bit about yourself:
My name is Georgia. I’m a cook, educator and nutritionist. I’m super passionate about home-cooking and seasonal produce. I work in the food industry running workshops and creating recipes for like-minded clients.
Why did you choose Bridge to Brisbane?
I was asked to be a Community Champion for Dolly’s Dream and I couldn’t say no. It’s such an incredibly worthy cause and something I really care about. I also love any kind of outdoor activity – so it’s a win, win!
What event are you participating in and who will you be running with?
I’m participating in the 10km race and supporting Dolly’s Dream. My cousin is also going to run with me!
If you could get one message out to people, following your personal experiences, what would it be?
I would ask people to think before they act and to look at their own actions. What you say and do to others, whether it’s online or in person, is a choice. Every human being can be kind.
Name three things that are key to living a fulfilled life:
Gratitude. Laughter. Spending time outdoors.
Where is your favourite spot to go for a run in Brisbane?
I love the Botanical Gardens and anywhere along the Brisbane River!
Top tip for people training from Bridge to Brisbane:
