Queensland’s biggest fun run is officially open for registrations. About 35,000 people will hit the streets to run, jog, walk and wheel as part of this year’s The Sunday Mail Transurban Bridge to Brisbane event on Sunday, September 14.
Registrations for the fun run, which fundraises for hundreds of vital Queensland charities, open today with a special 20 per cent off flash sale for the first 72 hours.
Runners can get in early to save on entry fees across the 5km and 10km course and beat the rush, with last year’s event having sold out. Sunday Mail editor Melanie Pilling said the well loved and enduring annual celebration unites and motivates people of all ages, abilities and aspirations. “It inspires an incredible sense of camaraderie on the course and in our communities.
In 2024, the event raised more than $1m for more than 300 charities and community groups,” she said. “Last year, we saw the highest turnout in a decade – and one of the largest fields in the event’s history.”
