ARE YOU READY TO FUN RUN?

Beginning at Hercules Park, Hamilton, the 5km course will take you along Kingsford Smith Drive, looping back through Bowen Hills and then descend towards the iconic Brisbane Showgrounds where you’ll cross the Finish Line and enter into the Race Village, full of fun and entertainment.

The Finish Line is located in the Showbag Pavilion via Gate 5, O’Connell Terrace, RNA Showgrounds, Bowen Hills.

START ZONE

The 5km course will start from Hercules Street Park, Hamilton. On Race Day, please allow plenty of time to assemble at the start line in your allocated zone. Your allocated zone assembly area is displayed on the back of your race bib and will correspond to the colour of your bib.

Joggers, walkers and those walking with prams or wheelchairs should assemble at the rear of their zone.

ACCESSIBILITY

Entry Details

Any participants wishing to compete with an everyday wheelchair must enter into the Pink Walker Start Zone. No day wheelchairs are permitted in any other start groups. If you would like to copmpete in a Elite Wheelchair, please enter the Purple Elite start zone and email [email protected] to request to be moved into the Elite Wheelies start zone.

Companion Cards

If you have a companion card and require a support worker to complete the event with you, please email [email protected] with a copy of your companion card and we will provide a discount code for your support worker’s free entry. It is essential that everyone who will be on course is registered so we can provide a safe and enjoyable event for everybody.

Start Line Access

We encourage everyone to use the free public transport where possible. If you need to be dropped off in a private vehicle or a rideshare the best drop off point for the 5km can be dropped off at MacArthur Avenue, Hamilton. Course Map & Elevation Profile

SUPPORT YOUR SCHOOL

The entry fee of participants aged under 15 years includes a $5 donation to their nominated school.

You can choose to have your race kit mailed out (at an additional cost) or you can collect it in person from the Race Office.

Collecting your race kit in person

If you opted to collect your kit in-person, our Race Office will be open at John Reed Pavilion Corner of Gregory Terrace and Alexandria St, during the following times:

Thursday 11 September, 2025 – 8:00am to 6:00pm

Friday 12 September, 2025 – 8:00am to 6:00pm

Saturday 13 September, 2025 – 8:00am to 2:00pm

Can’t make it to the office in the above times? You can send someone else with your confirmation certificate to collect on your behalf.
