Bridge to Brisbane Returns for Its 30th Year in 2026

The hum of traffic across Brisbane’s Gateway Bridge will give way to the pounding of thousands of feet with the 30th edition 2026 Bridge to Brisbane scheduled for Sunday 13 September.

Featuring the traditional 5km and 10km runs, Queensland’s largest fun run is expected to attract more than 35,000 participants of all ages and abilities.

Renowned for its start at the southern end of the Bridge and magnificent sweeping views across the river city the event has progressively become the largest and most popular community fun run in the state with more than $1.1 million raised for over 300 charities in 2025.

With the finish line located at the RNA Showgrounds the fun continues post-race with live entertainment, a kid’s zone, food and beverage options and a relaxation and chill-out zone for quiet reflection of the day’s achievement.

The Bridge to Brisbane event welcomes elite and competitive runners, fun runners and joggers, amblers and walkers – people of all ages and abilities!
