Refund Requests

I can no longer participate in the event I entered, can I get a refund?

There are no refunds payable unless expressly permitted by law.

If you are no longer able to participate in the event at all, you can transfer your entry to another person, please complete your transfer via the Update my Entry portal – review transfer information.

If you can no longer participate in the 10km distance, you are able to change your race to the 5km event. Please complete a race change via the Update my Entry portal (capacities for each event may apply) – review race change information.

Can I roll my entry over to a future Transurban Bridge to Brisbane?

No. You can only change your race (capacities for each event may apply) or transfer to another person (via the official transfer process) and this is only valid for the same year of entry.

Race Transfers

Can I transfer my entry to someone else?

Yes, entries can be transferred from one entrant to another via the Update my Entry portal, and are only valid for the same year of entry.

TRANSFER PROCESS:

Steps to Transfer:

  1. Transferee (current entrant) is required to login into the Update my Entry portal (email and confirmation code required).
  2.  Select “Transfer” from the menu options.
  3. The transferee will enter the new entrants first name, last name and email into the transfer entry form.
  4. The new entrant will receive an email from info@bridgetobrisbane.com.au with a link to complete their entry making payment to complete the process.
  5. Once the entry is complete and payment received, the transferee will receive a refund for their entry. Transfer refunds will endeavour to be processed no later than one week after the new entry has been received.

Please note:

  • Once the transferee has submitted the transfer form, the transfer process is irreversible.
  • A transfer is not completed until the new entrant submits payment for the race entry.
  • All money transactions are handled through the registration portal and not between individuals – DO NOT PAY THE TRANSFEREE FOR YOUR ENTRY.
  • Transfers will ONLY be completed via the official B2B entry portal, ensure the link starts with https://b2b26.enterb2b.com/
  • Transfers are only available within the official transfer window.
  • If you need to complete a transfer of entry with no payment/refund of funds please contact info@bridgetobrisbane.com.au to request, citing a valid reason.
  • All transfer refunds will be processed to the credit card that paid for the entry, if the refund is declined, the transferee will be contacted for bank details to be refunded by bank transfer. All fees associated with bank transfers are to be paid for by the transferee.

Race Changes

Can I change races?

Yes, you can change your race up until entries close (entries close at 2:00pm Saturday 12 September).

When upgrading your race, you will be required to pay the difference in entry fees. When downgrading your race, refunds will not be given. Please complete your upgrade/downgrade via the Update my Entry portal.

Please note:

  • Race capacities may apply
  • If you choose to change your race distance after 19 July, 2026 you will need to be issued with a new race number and your name/nickname will no longer be available.

RACE CHANGE PROCESS:

  1. Login to the Update my Entry portal (email and confirmation code required).
  2. Select Change Race from the menu options.
  3. Choose the Race you would like to change to from the provided options (only those races available to enter will be shown).
  4. Complete the Race Entry Questions and pay any applicable fees (if upgrading you will be required to pay the difference in entry fee, if downgrading no refunds will be given).
  5. Once the race change has been completed you can resend your confirmation email and download your entry certificate (this is not an automatic process).
