I understand that I am responsible for making my own way to the required event check in locations • I understand that my shift duration may need to adapt given the demands of the event • I will perform my volunteering role to the best of my ability and display a willingness to assist with any task required • I will attend the required scheduled training in accordance to my role • I will follow the guidance and directions from my supervisor, team leader or EMQ staff members • Minimum age: Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older on September 13, 2026 to volunteer unaccompanied. If a volunteer is under the age of 16 years on September 13, 2026, they must be supervised by a parent or guardian for the duration of their volunteer role. If a volunteer is under 18 years of age, a parent or guardian must read and accept the Volunteer Application Form and these Volunteer Terms and Conditions on their behalf. • I will take pride in my personal appearance and adhere to the dress standards • I will be reliable and punctual for my volunteer duties • I will work in a manner that is conscientious and safe for myself, other volunteers EMQ staff and members of the public • I will act in good faith in the interest of EMQ and protect the confidential nature of information that may be acquired during the course of duties • I will treat others with respect so all employees and volunteers feel safe and free of harassment, in compliance with the Harassment Policy • I will maintain a safe workplace and adhere to the workplace health and safety requirements • Health and safety: Each volunteer must be safe and responsible at all times and must comply with all safety policies, procedures and directions notified by the Event Owner or the Event Organiser. Each volunteer recognises the difficulties of the Event and attests that they are physically fit to volunteer in the Event and that they have not been advised otherwise by a qualified medical practitioner. Each volunteer warrants that the medical information that they have included on the Volunteer Application Form is accurate and that if they become aware of any medical condition or impairment that will be detrimental to their health if they volunteer in the Event, or are otherwise sick or injured prior to the Event, they will notify the Event Organiser.
